Who we are
PortSnap is a desktop product of LeVo Technologies (“we”, “us”). This policy describes how we handle information when you use the PortSnap app and visit portsnap.app.
Information processed on your device
PortSnap runs locally. Data such as listening ports, process IDs, command lines, working directories, project assignments, and settings are stored on your computer and are not uploaded to our servers.
We do not receive your source code, repository contents, or file contents through the app.
Purchases and licenses
Payments are processed by our merchant of record and payment processor. When you buy PortSnap, they collect and process payment and billing details under their own privacy policy. We do not store your full payment card information.
The listed price is $29 USD before tax. Our merchant of record calculates and collects VAT, GST/HST, or sales tax where applicable at checkout based on your location. That tax is charged in addition to the $29 price and remitted by the merchant of record.
License keys you enter in the app are stored on your device. The app may send your license key and a device identifier to our licensing service so we can enforce the device limit for your license. That information is used only for license validation and seat management.
Website and analytics
Our marketing site does not currently use advertising trackers or sell your personal information.
If we add website analytics, we will use a privacy-focused provider that does not rely on advertising cookies (for example Plausible or Fathom). We will update this policy if that changes.
How we use information
We use information only to:
- Provide and improve PortSnap
- Process purchases and deliver license keys
- Validate licenses and manage device seats
- Respond to support requests you send us
- Meet legal obligations where required
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers needed to operate PortSnap (such as our merchant of record for checkout and licensing), when you ask us to, or when required by law.
Retention
Local app data remains on your device until you delete it or uninstall PortSnap. Purchase and license records held by our merchant of record are retained according to their policies and as needed for accounting, fraud prevention, and customer support.
Your choices
You can uninstall PortSnap at any time to remove local app data from your device. For purchase, receipt, or license questions, contact us at support@portsnap.app . Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you — email us to make a request.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Latest update” date at the top of this page will change when we do. Continued use of PortSnap or the website after an update means you accept the revised policy.
